A large part of my childhood, the surreal biomechanical locations of the Bionicle franchise are a unique fusion of sci-fi and fantasy. These travel posters feature the waters of the Ga Koro coast, the legendary Great Coliseum, the island of doom illuminated by the Red Star, the sunken land just above The Pit, the core of the Matoran Universe itself and the ancient remnants of a forgotten predecessor.

This passion project took place over the course of a year, with many ideations and reworks along the way. From sketch, to painting, to vector and back to sketch again, eventually these scenes came together into a colorful series of posters inspired by classic travel advertizements.
